   SPECIMEN OF A BILL OF LADING.
   SHIPPED in good order and condition by George Harris, in and upon the good Ship called cc Glory », whereof is Master for this present voyage John Flint, and now riding at anchor (i) in this port and bound for Montevideo (2)  G. H. 1-10/125. Ten cases earthenware
   G. H. 1-5/140. Five cases china
   Weight and contents being marked and numbered as in the margin, and to be delivered in the like unknowa (j) good order and well conditioned at the aforesaid Port of Montevideo (the Acts
   of God, the King's enemies, Fire, and all and every other Dangers and Accidents of the Seas, Rivers, and Navigation, of whatever nature and kind soever excepted) (3) unto Messr. Cordoba Hermanos, or to their assigns (4), the shipper paying Freight for the said Goods in Liverpool on delivery of Bill of Lading. In Witness whereof the Master or Purser (5) of the said Ship hath affirmed (6) to three Bills, all of this tenor and date, one of which Bills being accomplished, the others to stand void.
